How It Works
Catalyst One Analyzers use slides to analyze the samples from our pets. These slides employ the dry slide technology through its extensive layers. The samples are placed on these slides which then undergo the five layers beneath the sample area. Each layer has its own distinct purpose: the spreading layer, the filtering layer, the reagent layer, the indicator layer, and the support layer.
According to studies, up to 73% of veterinary samples are compromised. The dry slide technology, with its meticulous sample processing, minimize impurities for the most accurate results. Once the slides and sample have been inserted into the analyzer, the Catalyst One analyzer incubates the slides and sample. The sample is then accurately dispensed onto the slides, the analyzer measures the color development of the slide, and then all used materials are removed from the analyzer.
The Catalyst One analyzer can perform a wide range of in-house tests through the use of its slides and CLIPs. For increased flexibility and rechecking purposes, veterinarians can utilize the individual slides for their practice.
